Couture collections are similar to works of art and therefore the adjacent areas are often the inspiration for them. So, this time the muse for Piccioli was Maria Callas, who was one of the greatest opera singers of the 20th century. That's why the musical accompaniment to the show was opera arias, and the main characters on the podium were magnificent fluffy dresses, in which you can easily enter on stage of the Palais Garnier. One of the brightest dresses was on the Kaia Gerber, it is pale purple model, adorned with weightless feathers.
The 18-year-old model Adut Akesh (the same as the show Chanel) closed the show. She appeared on the podium in a bright orange lush dress, supplemented by an unusual hood. No wonder she is called the new Naomi Campbell. By the way, in the final of the show the guests applauded standing, Pierpaolo visibly worried, Valentino Garavani stepped on the bow and hugged him.
Valentino adores many stars and this every year is noticeable on the red carpet of the Oscar and the Golden Globe. So, the invitation to the first row this time was given to Amber Heard, Natalia Vodianova, Nicky Hilton, Olivia Palermo and even Christian Louboutin.
