Street Style: New York Fashion Week Fall 2018

by - 8:21 AM

In New York in the midst of the Fashion Week and hundreds of fashionable people came to the city to not only visit the shows of their favorite designers, but also to get into the lenses of streetstyle photographers.  In the new season among their favorites - colored fur, sports accessories and multilayer, without which in the winter simply can not do.

 MIX TEXTILES

Wearing all one color or all one material can look buttoned up and chic. But mixing textiles is an easy way to make your outfit more interesting. Exhibit A: this show attendee who wore a silk pant and bag with a linen coat and cashmere sweater.

GO FULL PATTERN

Don’t be afraid to invest in a completely pattered pants suit. It may feel loud and overwhelming at first, but if you add a casual vintage tee or a solid colored sweater, the look will be street style gold.

RED. BOOTS.

Trends come and go, which is why we always suggest investing in staples and going to fast fashion retailers for items that we think may be “over” after one season. Red boots, however, have been going strong for a full year at this point. So find yourself a pair.

ADD A METALLIC

Just because it’s daytime doesn’t mean you can’t add some flair. Adding a metallic accessory, be it a shoe or a bag, to an otherwise classic outfit gives you just the perfect amount of “look at me.”

ADD A BELT

Adding a belt to an outfit can be the difference between “cute” and “fabulous! Omg! I want it now!” We’re obsessed with this one from Loewe that could be worn with a T-shirt, blazer, or long black dress.

TRY OUT A FAUX FUR

Thanks to brands like Gucci and Michael Kors, faux-fur is finally chic. This well priced and very warm alternative to the "real" thing will not leave you disappointed.
