The spring 2018 collection encapsulates the all-American designer’s love of motor sports and the model’s jet-set lifestyle. Racing stripe prints, embroidered speed logos and graphic badges make up a race-track ready collection in keeping with the bold TommyXGigi collaborations that have come before it.

Elie Saab is sure that high fashion is a fairy tale. In the spring-summer season of 2018, the Lebanese designer moved the guests of the show to Paris in the 1920s and immersed in an atmosphere of unrestrained fun, with dancing until the morning and luxurious outfits that did not interfere with the most insane pas.

The designer chose a subdued sparkling palette of shades of champagne, silver-blue and black. Used a lot of beads, feathers and crystals. The whole collection was imbued with the spirit of art deco, and in motifs of embroidery guessed patterns from the wallpaper and interior design of the time. Even deep cutouts on dresses did not just appear - they in turn sent to the looks of the famous dancers of the 1920s - Josephine Baker and the girls from the Folie Berger show.

This morning in Paris, the world’s biggest superbrand - which has previously transformed the interior of the Grand Palais into an airport terminal and a Chanel-branded supermarket - chose to keep things relatively simple as guests took their seats in an intimate walled garden circling a fountain centrepiece.

As is customary, the house’s signature boucle suits were first on the catwalk. In shades of periwinkle, leaf green and buttercup, Coco Chanel’s iconic jacket was reinterpreted with a cropped fit and exaggerated shoulders. Tweed city shorts and sportier split skirts completed the ensembles, while each look on the catwalk was also crowned with a bouquet-topped veil.

And then came the gowns. Lagerfeld’s pick of the bunch for next season included rose satin styles with tulip-shaped skirts and short floral lace dresses overlaid with long embellished organza. Bodices also blossomed with sparkling floral crystals, while other skirts were pleated with the uniform precision of petals.

This time, the younger Hadid preferred the black tulle along with the bare shoulders. The dress was decorated with exquisite embroidery and emphasized the slender figure of Bella, and a small silver bag, classic lacquer boats and large earrings completed a bold and at the same time graceful look. The final touch is the geometric lines in the hairstyle (Bella has appeared with a bang and smoothly gathered in a tail hair) and a make-up.

The Rodin Museum was again the home of the Christian Dior show. In the new collection of couture, Maria Grazia Chiuri talks about fantasy and imagination. "The history of Haute Couture is closely connected with the history of contemporary art, and the designer is a real artist, and even the word" workshop "means not only an art studio, but also a garment making workshop." However, imagination always remains the real mastermind of a creative person, "says Chiuri. "And it is high fashion that helps to realize the most insane fantasies."

While working on the collection, Chiuri relied on the realism and reminded that sometimes you should not believe your own eyes. For example, a variety of folds on her black and white outfits during the movement constantly change position and inspire uncertainty in the viewer, but what does this dress actually look like.

It was not on the podium and without the references and history of the fashion house. The key source of inspiration from Maria Grazia was the work of the artist Leonor Fini. One of the few who exhibited in the Parisian gallery of Christian Dior.
