Harper's BAZAAR Celebrates ICONS by Carine Roitfeld

The traditional Harper's Bazaar Icons party took place in New York during Fashion Week. Guests gathered at the Plaza hotel at the invitation of the fashion director of the American edition Carine Roitfeld . The most notable was the appearance of Bella Hadid - instead of an evening dress she chose the semi-sheer bodysuit that left little to the imagination.

On this day, ukrainian designer Iva Nerolli, who is known for her gentle and feminine looks, presented her SS’19 collection.

Location

Iva Nerolli SS'19 collection was shown at the Suzirja Theater. The theatre is located in a beautiful old building a hundred-year-old . The house is especially beautiful inside: furniture, sculptures, huge mirrors on the stairs, old chandeliers, murals, stained-glass windows, paintings. Designer choose this location for good reason.

In the season Spring-Summer 2019 Iva Nerolli presented to the audience a completely different looks. Gentleness, refinement and femininity. In the collection use lightweight fabrics flying blue hues that emphasize the silhouette of the female figure. The basis of the collection is the asymmetrical trend tops, leggings and trendy bike shorts, blouses on one shoulder, clothing in Latin style, as well as voluminous blouses of silk and chiffon.

Inspiration

The inspiration for the designer was the movement of the 80's and Lambada dance. Expression, sexuality, honesty, and drama there are all present in the dance and in the new collection.
